6000km of Road Music

Happy one year anniversary CUBE!  I just arrived in Victoria, BC after 6000km of driving from MONTREAL.  Lots of photos and stories to post SOON.  But firstly, I can not stop listening to this song.  I discovered it from Pitchfork's top 100 songs of the year.  So now....the new summer Cube Schedule: crank "Golden Phone" and bounce around while driving with the windows down.....I *heart* "Micahu and the Shapes".  Happy Birthday CUBE.

Getting Ready for Drupalcon 2010

Drupalcon SF 2010Where did the winter go?  Quite frankly, who cares.
Its spring again and that means that Drupalcon is just around the corner.  Drupalcon for those of you that don't know is a twice yearly event for Drupal nerds to get together and talk shop.  What's Drupal?  Well it runs thousands of websites around the world, including this very cube community.
As part of the contest to win the cube I promised to decorate my Cube in Druplicons (the Drupal mascot) and drive it to the next North American Drupalcon.  Well, that is fast approaching and I'm excited to get on the road.
This road trip is going to take me across the continent.  I'm most looking forward to driving through the Rockies near Denver.  Also, after the conference I'll be swinging north to Washington state and will make stops in 'Twin Peaks' and 'Cicely Alaska' (Roslyn).  (Yes, I was fans of both Twin Peaks and Northern Exposure). &nbs

#eastcoastcube camping trip from the easterner perspective

During the Labour Day long weekend, Rannie and Jasin came down east for a little trip. Rannie, tagging it the #eastcoastcube camping trip on Twitter, provided a constant flow of information online (when he had cell phone service) and all three of us shot a ton of photos and some video (which i am still working on).

Below are a few of my favourite shots from the trip. You can see all of them in the gallery.
