My friends and I love getting out around the city. Attending events all over Toronto; be it photography, film, design, art or history (etc etc).

This past week was the Interior design show. We were lucky enough to get to more than a few events at the Metro Convention Center, the ROM and at the Gladstone Hotel.

At the Metro Convention Center there was the Interior Design Show. Lots to see, touch and take pics of! I'm proud to say that candian designers really stand out. I love that we are tactile people, we like things honest and real... things you want around you and that communicate more than just sleek and sexy. We have a sense of humor, a sense of story and a sense of history in most things we make... and you can see it whether you understand design or not. It was well worth checking out a show such as this.

Well it's only been a short time since I won the Cube, but things have been great. I have met so many great people through this contest, people that I feel will be apart of my life for years to come. It's great to win a car, no doubt, but it's been a lot more than just winning. Everything has been a very positive experience and I'm glad to have been chosen to be apart of it all. People really respond positively to the Cube on the streets. I love seeing peoples eyes light up and start talking to me at random. And trust me, there's been a ton of random going on since I got this car. But it's been great. I know it's sounds silly, and people do mock us. However, it's great to hang with other Hyper Cubists out on the streets of Toronto, with our cars all parked in a row. I haven't met one sour Cuber in the bunch. Everyone in my eyes deserved to win for a reason. Because they are positive social people, people who will talk about the car, encourage converstion and excitement! And who knows, maybe in turn sell a few cars along the way. I'm sure I have convinced a few people that the Cube is a good choice. Hell, it's the most fun I have ever had with a car.
