62 days....

It's been 62 days of me being on the mend. But, i'm back now... and in some ways... better than ever.

I've been ... wait for it... KNITTING a lot. surprise surprise! lol i've started a new blog for just my knitting stuff and a new twitter account for it. You can check both out here:

http://knittyornice.com and http://twitter.com/knittyornice

It's been pretty awesome having something to distract myself from all the stresses of life... and i get some pretty awesome stuff out it!!!! My dream... is to open up my own yarn/knitting cafe. How awesome would that be!?

So... yes, i've been gone for a bit, but i'm back now. And yes, i have been knitting... what i really want to talk to everyone about though is a project that i have been very fortunate to be a part of.

Young Artists For Haiti.

50 Canadian Musicians got together to re-record K'naan's Wavin' Flag. 100% of the proceeds of all sales will be going directly to help those in need in Haiti. It's been a moving experience. And you know... just because it's not being covered by the media anymore, doesn't mean that everything is back to normal. Its gonna take YEARS for the people of Haiti to get their lives back in order.

I dont want to get too preachy, but i do want to share with you the video, and ask that you help us spread the word about this great initiative.

You can find out more about this project at http://facebook.com/younartistsforhaiti and http://youngartistsforhaiti.net

Thanks so much guys.

This is a sweet song. Been following k'naan for a long time and he's one dude I really like to see getting exposure. And he's always on top of finding a way to help out. Hadn't seen this video yet and love it. Even little Bieber batting clean up at the end.
Want to know more about your roll in this project. So cool you got to be a part!
Nice job on the knitting too! Let us know when you start accepting special orders ;)
