Word up ya...

Today i will tell you an amazing story,

For some time now i have been thinking about making a mural cube related. I wanted this piece to be big, to be a challenge design-wise and production-wise.




After getting the logistic down and secured the important collaborators, that meant Nissan, and a building owner willing to let me do something very unusual.



Official go's where coming in and now i was face with the reality of it all...
Won't lie to ya, mother nature was my prime stress factor, i can't stand painting under snow and grizzling rain... so i was stress.




Then something awesome came along, Montreal cube caravan, at that point i got to meet a lot of awesome cube friends and believe it or not, i got ready and started mixing my paint with them all around chillin in my
office.

If there's a CHI energy somewhere, well it got trapped in the paint that night :)



So i was ready to start day one...
by my side, the famous Photojunkie ready to document the whole adventure, he will stay till last drop of paint.

I'm equipped with a lift, because sometimes a ladder just won't do. Got a warm jacket and will be painting with a airless spray gun for a wide effective coverage.



Paint, eat, sleep, paint...
There is only one way to do this, intensively! So the first days when well and i'm starting to feel extreme pain in my lower back, normal it will pass...



I finally got somewhere, only the eyes remains untouched, cant this be true?

When done, it looks fab! A cube building painted with tha cube girl, if you ever come down to Montreal let me know so i can show you in the flesh, this piece is a surreal experience when you walk around it, moving and constantly changing form it truly is a piece im proud of. And raises the question, can i do bigger next time?

- of course i can.
