Cube Questions...

Hello all,

I know that this site is really more about the people who drive the Cube, but I'd just like to take this opportunity to offer any advice I can about the car.

If you've checked out my gallery pics, you know that I've done a bit of 'modifying' to my Cube. If you have any interest in doing similar mods or just have some general questions, feel free to drop me a line here. I'm not a mechanic by any means, but I've done all my Cube mods myself and I am an avid car/motorcycle enthusiast (I also have an older Mustang and a Suzuki GSX-R 750).

So feel free to ask away...

Cheers,

Armen

I was just wondering...I have a 2009 cube and it is a 6 speed, but when i'm in 6th gear on the highway it still revs really high. I got the dealer to check it but they said it was ok and that's the way they are. Is this true?

Nice

what did you change? Would love to change the red color inside for the radio and buttons...

is it possible ?

Well, that's a standard

Well, that's a standard Nissan stereo deck and and you'd have to go to something after market to be able to change the display colours. There are a lot of options out there, but it can get pricey very quickly. I did add an amplifier and 10" sub woofer in a ported box, but I decided to leave the stereo stock.

I've also lowered the car, tinted the tail-lights, added a Stillen Cold Air Intake/Exhaust, and a few other goodies. The car is a blast to drive now, even on the winter rubber.

In the spring I'm going to refinish my 17" wheels and put on some new tires that will be better for autocrossing and the road track at Toronto Motorsports Park. I'm really looking forward to puting the car thru some good twisties!!! I'm also planning on reinforcing the front end a bit more with an under brace from Tanabe:
