Cubetacular Montreal Adventure and a Wrap
Submitted by Andre Molnar on October 26th, 2009
Wow. What a weekend.
Friday morning I got up, went to the printer's and picked up the perforated vinyl for my rear window wrap. I then hit the road to join in the weekend getaway to Montreal. Five hours later I was getting lost (literally) while driving in that crazy city (I mean seriously, its like an alternate driving dimension). Once I got oriented, I managed to catch up with seven other winners for a night on the town.
Saturday morning a handful of us cruised all over the city. We tried to ambush a ford fiesta giveaway event. We climbed Mt Royal. Finally, I met up with a huge long line of Cube winners at Orange Julep for a yummy treat and some chitchat before I had to leave to come back to Toronto. While that was the end of my part of the Montreal experience, those that could stay looked to have another great night on the town (from what I could see in the pictures I saw).
5 hours later, I was back in the city. 29 hour whirlwind Montreal trip.
For some pictures check out the Montreal Meetup Gallery (and if you were there, post some pics while you're at it).
Sunday morning I got up and helped my partner, in life and crime, Ghoul Friday set up shop at the Bazaar of the Bizarre on Queen West. Once she was settled I took advantage of the great weather and went back to the house to wrap the back window of my Cube.
I finally have the first stage of my wrap done and the Drupliconcube is a reality.
And now I am completely wiped and calling this weekend quits. Thanks all for a wonderful time.
