Introduction

Greetings.

My wife and I bought our firecracker red Cube at the end of October. Our experience with the dealer was nothing less than excellent. We're really impressed with the car and love it a lot. It is a delight to drive and fun to own.

I really like the style of the Cube - a box with not a straight line anywhere to be found. The cheekiness reminds me a lot of Nissan’s Pike series cars. For those that don’t know what they are, they are a series of 4 limit edition retro-cars: the Be-1, Pao, S-cargo and Figaro. All were built at Nissan’s special projects Pike Factory between 1988 and 1992. The cars were styled based on classic European car themes from the 1940's and 50's with a bit of Japanese reinterpretation of the time period. The Pike cars are wonderfully unique cars.

The Cube reminds me a lot of the Pike cars. The cheeky, whimsical styling and the playful visual accents are a refreshing change to the boring stodginess of the American car market. I'm glad Nissan brought the Cube to Canada.

Cheers.
