Today, I went and renewed my Liscence Plate Stickers! I also paid my Toronto Vehicle tax (60$ per year). I was actually looking forward to this. Sounds weird? Yeah... but I guess its still just one of the my of vehicle ownership 'firsts'!
I drove my Cube, parked out front, grabbed a toonie's worth of parking time and strolled into the Driver and Vehicle Licence Issuing Office at 777 College St. The waiting room was packed! I recieved my number from the receptionist and found out there's an hour wait!
BUT.
I was told there's a computerized kiosk outside the office where I can do the entire process myself! I find the kiosk and..NO line-up! The touch-screen is fun, easy and your sticker gets spit out right there. The entire process took about 5 minutes! Painless...
Guess we're all going to have to do this sometime this year..
