Please help Tibet

I recently found out that Tibetans have the highest rate of blindness of anywhere in the world because of a combination in altitude and poverty. BUT what is optimistic is that the type of blindness they suffer from can be reversed by a simple procedure that is close to just $50. In a country that is so heavily dependant on agriculture it is imperative that they have eyesight for survival.

A few friends and I have entered a contest under the team name Love at First Sight and over the past three weeks we have been spreading awareness and trying to reach our goal of $5,000 to put towards an eye camp in Tibet. If we reach this goal we could potentially help 100 people have the chance at full vision again. As a byproduct an entire community will be transformed. We are worried though as the deadline for donations is this Friday, March 12 at noon.

It would mean so much to me if you would be willing to donate just a few dollars to this cause, and it could mean the world to someone whose vision will be restored. Our campaign ends Friday, March 12 at noon so please consider clinking the link below which will take you directly to our teams sponsor page. If you would like to see what we have been doing to raise awareness please also check out our website.
