Random News - Wrap, XM, Montreal

Its been a while since my last update here at the site.

First things first: I will have the first part of my cube wrap printed and in my hands by Friday morning.  I'm starting the cube wrap by adding perforated adhesive vinyl to the back window of the cube.  I will be sure to post pictures once I have it installed.  I'm pretty excited about this as you might imagine.

I'm actually more excited since Jasin Dollin got part of his cube wrapped last week and it ended up looking pretty darn awesome. (see picture to the left).

Second item: I noticed that the inkling made a post about renewing XM radio for her cube.   A while ago I had tweeted that I didn't think I would renew, but when the deadline came I finally decided to do it.  The main reason is that I will be going on a roadtrip right across the U.S. in April. And there is nothing worse than suffering static and sub-par programming when on a long road trip.  Knowing that I had planned this single road trip many months from made the $80ish dollar yearlong contract seem like a bargain. I would have paid that just to have programming for the week or two that I plan to be on the road then.  The rest of the year will be a bonus.

And my final news item: Tomorrow (Friday Oct 24th) a caravan of Cube owners will be making their way down the 401 from Toronto to Montreal.  Word on the street is Mark from PEI will make their way east to join in as well as some other Cubers in Eastern Ontario and Quebec. I am 85% sure I'm going to make the trip, but I've got a bit of a cold that has already lingered a day longer than I'd hoped.  If I'm not still totally feverish I'll be on my way.  (I suppose I should figure out where I'm going to stay).

Oh and a 4th item: Notice the @cubecommunity twitter feed is back on the site.  Check the right hand side of the screen to see what's new and exciting in 140 characters or less.
