Teacher Cubes

Well, school started this week, and I happily drove my Cube to work on the first day of school and parked it in the staff parking lot. The students at my school, who had helped make some of the videos I posted on my canvas and were some of my most loyal voters, were happy to see the fruits of our labours and are making sure that I follow through with promise of free rides to 7-11. It feels good to have worked hard on something together, and to see such a cool result! I can't thank them enough for their support through the contest!

Well, I was very surprised to learn that my Cube was not the only one parked in the school parking lot! Another teacher, who teaches in the classroom right beside me, also has a Cube!! She parked beside my car so everyone passing by was seeing double. Apparently the word-of-mouth campaign run by Nissan worked, as their purchase of the Cube was directly related to my involvement in the Hypercube contest. My colleague's husband is 6'6" and was looking for a small car with good fuel consumption that he could actually fit. After trying the Honda Civic and others, my fellow teacher suggested he look at the Cube. Well, he was impressed with the headroom and legroom afforded in the Cube and bought one right away. He's driven it all the way to Saskatchewan and back, and loves it!

I hope that eventually all the teachers on staff will join the team and we can have a full lot of Cubes!
