I brought my Cube in to get the heater fan looked at because it had simply quit working. I wanted to check my windshield wiper as well because it's always made a noise from the first day.

Turns out the fan worked by the time they got it into the shop but the windshield wiper motor had to be replaced. They didn't want me driving my Cube in case it broke altogether and I was lucky enough to have bought the extended warranty so I got a rental.

That was three weeks ago and I'm still waiting for my car. I suggested they take a motor off another Cube and put it on mine so I can have my car back but I haven't heard back from them yet.

Beware wonderful Cube people that getting replacement parts for our Cubes might take some time.

I have to call them again today to see what's happening. I might suggest a meeting with the service manager, the salesman and the dealer principle to see if I can't get my car back.

Has anyone else been through this with replacement parts?
