Sometimes destiny surprises you. And tonight, destiny wanted me to go to Bento's Auto Repair. Ok maybe that's a little dramatic, but it was just sort of an interesting chain of events where everything fell perfectly into place, and since this story features my trusty Cube, I thought I should share.
It's Victoria Day and my husband Kristofer and I were just over at his brothers' house for dinner. I had noticed earlier in the day that my tire pressure was low, so I thought maybe the way home would be a good time to pop by the gas station to fill 'em all up before the start of the week. We pulled into the gas station, but there were two tow trucks parked right in front of the air-fill-y station so i kind of pulled up beside and then Kristofer and I jumped out of the car to see if they were using the air, or if we might convince them to move so we could use it quickly and get home.
I am so excited about this new show I have just finished working on. It is for the food network and it's lots of fun. The first episode is going to be airing on the Food Network on June 4th at Noon, 8pm and 11pm EST. I really hope some of you will check it out. You might even see some familiar faces!
From the Food Network site:
"Chef*Off is a cooking competition between two of Canada’s greatest chefs.
I had the privilege of working on an amazing film for Hot Docs called "Listen to This", directed by Juan Baquero. It's a film about a music program for kids at a school in the Jane and Finch area. I fell in love with all of the children in this movie!
