GoPro.

Just got my new GoPro Hero HD camera from www.gopro.com. I am STOKED to start shooting. It has waterproof housing and different attatchments for various applications. Here is a little sampler of what it can be used for, me and some buddies longboarding: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9AJym_4iUI.

Camp

Every summer since gr.6 or 7 I have went to Camp Kadesh during the summer.. I started working there in gr.9 and i've went back every year since as a leader! This year I will get the chance to be the media director. Primarily I will be making short films for the campers to watch each and every week, but I will also serve as the graphic designer, social networker, and sound technician. I am very excited! Camp Kadesh is about 2 hours away from my home in Saskatoon, and I will be making a lot of commutes back and forth from camp, to Saskatoon during the summer. Thanks to the Cube, I can do it with steez. LETS HERE IT FOR SUMMER!!!!! no seriously.

Cube to the test.

So this weekend I have a little musical gig. I play drums here and there at church sometimes, this weekend me and a few other buddies are putting on a worship night. It's on Saturday night and we're expecting at least 100 people to come. I rented a drum set from Long N McQuade, which unfortunately wasn't an ideal experience (seems like a lot of music store employees think they are on some sort of a higher level than you)... But on a radder note, the Cube took in the 6 piece kit quite well even though it was already half full. I had the soundboard, cord box, and the entire speaker array stashed in there at the same time as well. Either I'm getting really good at packing the Cube, or maybe it's just one of the things the it was engineered for? I'd say a bit of both.

A show of art completed.

I had another art show on the weekend at the Youth For Christ building in Saskatoon. It was a great success! A ton of people came, and it had a great atmosphere. We managed to fit all of the supplies for the show, inside of the cube! Which was: 3 large boxes of tshirts, 3 flats of arizona iced teas, 14 20x24" canvases, a nightstand, a huge rubbermaid bin, my back pack, 6 large bags of chips, 4 bags of cookies and a box of oreos, a toolbox, a massive bag of cotton to make clouds, a pair of sunglasses, my longboard, and of course me! Great Success!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
